What is ESET Error Code 2753 And How To Fix It?

ESET error 2753 is an installation update error that you may encounter while installing the updates. This error says that shellExt.dll is not marked for installation. The leading cause of error 2753 older versions of ESET if it installed at the same time as the upgrade process. The AppMgmt service and incorrect configuration of Group Policy Objects can be the cause of this error. Actually, this policy allows the older ESET installation at the same time upgradation.

 

Fix and find solution of the ESET Error Code 2753 with below steps;

  • Download the Installation Fixer of ESET from the official ESET support website. And ensure that your computer is 32-bit or 64-bit program supportive.
  • Run the ESET installation fixer on your computer.
  • Then key in the command; C:\Users\Owner\Desktop\ESETInstallationFixer_64.exe - fix MRL -b, type this.
  • Once you type this command, the program will be checked for a previous/older version of ESET, which doesn't match the new one.
  • Entries of Windows Installer Registry are now deleted. and the locations are;
  1. HKCR\Installer\UpgradeCodes.
  2. HKCR\Installer\Products.
  • Now, update ESET endpoint antivirus. The error codes should be cleared and install the update.

 

ESET Error Code 2503 And Its Solution

Error code 2503 occurs during eset internet security installation on your computer, which can appear due to incorrectly configured permission settings. You can fix the issue with the below steps;

  • Visit the C drive of PC or system.
  • Open the Windows folder.
  • Left-click on the TEMP folder and select it.
  • To view the dialog box of the folder's corresponding, right-click to view it.
  • Tap on Security tab and select Advanced and click 'Change Permissions'
  • Click on ADD button and type – Authenticated
  • Tap on ‘Check names’ option, then click OK.
  • Tick the permissions checkboxes, then click again OK  
  • Close the dialog box and install ESET again.
  • The error 2503 will be cleared.
  • you can also follow another option to fix the issue using this process – Press CTRL+Shift+Del to open the Task Manager. Then select the ESET process and click onEnd Task. Next, log in with administrator privileges, and try to install ESET setup.
